Paint your window!

This is a fun and inexpensive way to add color to a room. I found a cute bug valance for the top of the window and then painted flowers and bugs on the bottom. It now looks cute from both inside and outside.

Spice up a room for under $50.....

I wanted to spice up the library at work......so, I found this valance for the window and I fell in love with the colors and the pattern. I then took two old tables and painted them to match the valance.....it really tied everything in the room together. Too, too cute!!

Another way to recycle old furniture...

This was originally an old bench that we were going to throw away. It needed some TLC.....in a bad way! With the help from my handyman Tommy......hehehe.......we were able to fix the legs to make it sturdy enough to sit on. I found a rug at Tuesday Mornings for $40 and the rest is history! I painted the bench to match the rug.....and it turned out......well, cute as a bug!
